In designing HSA’s new Dubai office, we reconnected the company with its roots, drawing inspiration from Yemen’s rich architectural and cultural heritage—the birthplace of both the business and the family behind it. As a family-owned enterprise, HSA’s values of integrity, unity, and resilience are deeply embedded in its legacy, shaping every aspect of the design.

Our concept, Legacy in Motion, balances tradition with progress. Yemeni architecture—renowned for craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless beauty—informs the design, while modern interpretations create a workplace that is both authentic and forward-looking. Spatial narratives reflect HSA’s journey: fluid transitions suggest growth, layered textures capture continuity, and pathways guide occupants through a story of heritage and evolution.

Materiality reinforces this duality, blending carved stone and hand-applied plaster with glass, steel, and engineered wood. Each choice symbolises strength, continuity, and innovation.

The result is a vibrant, modern workplace that honours the past while embracing the future—a physical manifestation of HSA’s enduring legacy and its momentum toward excellence.
