Stuart Allen

Stuart was born in the UK and relocated to the US at a young age, Stuart's passion for design led him to pursue an Architectural Engineering Degree of Science at the University of Texas in the '90s.

Stuart’s career began in New York, designing high-end residential projects and flagship retail stores as part of the team at Stephen Miller Siegel Architects. Whilst living in the city, he had the opportunity to collaborate with celebrity clients and work with prestigious brands.

In 2010, Stuart moved to Dubai with the purpose of spearheading a newly established interior design and architectural firm. In 2015, Stuart acquired the firm and rebranded it as Allen Architecture Interiors Design (AAID).  Stuart’s success was driven by his clear vision of creating a design firm that prioritises integrity, transparency, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled design solutions.

As Managing Director at AAID, he remains actively involved in the design process, inspiring his team and clients to unlock the full potential of their projects through close collaboration. He recognizes the significance of understanding client needs, budget considerations, local supply chains, timelines, and industry standards to ensure a project is completed to the highest standards

Beyond his professional achievements, Stuart is passionate about nurturing talent and fosters a supportive environment within his team. Outside of work, Stuart finds solace in cooking, which he considers both therapeutic and an opportunity to express his creativity and love for hosting.
